Alexandra, born in Germany, now living in NY, began photographing with 14 years and it soon turned from a hobby into her job. She is specialised in social media content production, fashion and beauty photography and works as a videographer for example Oberpollinger and JOOP!.
She is happy to be invited to all big fashion shows at Milan, Paris and New York Fashion Week and got her bachelor of arts in photography and design at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich. Alex's work was featured in Vogue Italia, Dreamingless Magazine and Ariane Ernst Magazine. She also ownes the brand 'glam-o-meter' with former InStyle editor-in-chief Annette Weber. Alex lives between Munich and New York and is happy to make her passion her paycheck.
Alex‘ work is focused on raw beauty and mostly female models, she personally lo-ves to work with women who don’t have the perfect model measurements and have a story to tell. For own editotial projects, she speaks with her models in advance and tries to build a relationship, asks them what they like personally and photos-hops as little as needed. A scar for example is unique and shouldn’t be removed. Alex’ favorite is to let the models do what comes naturally to them and capture their movements.
